Frog's Potions

A Halloween color-by-interval worksheet for harmonic intervals! Choose a color for each interval, then color the potions and potion ingredients to match.

Frog’s Potions features all the even intervals, while Frog’s Potion Ingredients uses the odd intervals. I split them up this way to help students start noticing the patterns between odd and even intervals as they work with larger intervals on the staff.

Want to make it a little harder? Ask your student to draw either a treble or bass clef at the beginning of each staff, then name the notes based on the clef they chose.

From the page to the river 🐸

These are the same intervals students practice in Interval Jump! On the worksheet the two notes are stacked; in the app, Frog jumps the same distance from one log to the next while students quickly identify each interval on the staff.

The worksheet gives students a little more time to look and think, then the game lets them practice recognizing the same intervals a little faster.
